To give the player a more diverse environment to walk around in, I added walkways that they can use to access different parts of the Bridge such as the top of the towers, using Matinee blueprints to make functioning lifts. This system of platforms and walkways was an easy answer to getting the player to the top of the towers where they ideally want to end up. I addition this system makes sense, in this apocalyptic futuristic game, humans would take over buildings of importance and that are easily defend able and re-purpose them to suit their needs, in this example using them to stockpile weapons and explosives.

I finished the crane with a suspended platform moving bombs about, and a raised walkway between that has ramps entering and exiting it. The are suspended lights hanging at rough intervals which will allowing visibility when I reduce the Light Source value making the environment darker and more like night.

The stockpile of munitions, I wanted to make this part of the game look busy so you really get the impression of how powerful the mercenary group is. Using crates I could create a enclosed area. The are bombs on the right-hand side inside of protective capsules. In the center of the tower the are a set of tables with weapons and ammo laid out that makes the tower feel like it’s still in use. The tower also has power that keeps lights and the crane working giving the impression that the group are powerful.

I created the bombs in UE4, as I have done with everything else, I used a Fuse model to get an accurate representation of human proportion and build them using this as a guide. I started by creating the main cylindrical body, and had to make the Semi-Sphere using a regular Sphere and a Subtractive box. then I made the bottom using a Cone and more cubes to create a Stereotypical bomb. I also wanted the bombs to look menacing
The top of the Tower is where the game will end because you’ve reached to stockpile and now you need to place a tracker to tell your allies where to attack.

Since at the start of the Game, you walk past several buildings it makes the game feel empty and lonely which I do want to create but I also want to create an effect that the’s people living in boarded up buildings and this makes the world feel busy and gives the impression that people are just trying to get by.

Since you get shot at by Enemies the are Medical Kits that can be picked up by the player and they restore a set amount of health of the player.

When the player overlaps the Medical Kit Box it gets the players current health and adds the set health onto it and then destroys the actor after the health has been restored.
